Five minutes into my run, everything's bouncing.” With a C or D cup, you've been there: the bra that promises everything, and a chest that bounces with every stride until you're running with your arms pinned in. You're right not to take a label's word for it anymore.
This one was designed for impact, not for yoga. The straps cross in the back: instead of hanging from your shoulders, your chest is pulled in close to your body, and that's what keeps it stable when you run. The fabric is 90% polyamide with just 10% elastane: it moves with you but gives very little, and it resists losing its shape, wash after wash. The pads are removable, so keep them in or take them out.
What it does, and what it doesn't. Running, racquet sports, intense training: your chest is stabilized, and the fabric wicks sweat to keep you dry. We'd rather be upfront: you can feel maximum support. It holds you close, on purpose. If you want a bra you don't feel at all, this isn't it.
With a D cup, size is everything. Too small and it compresses, the straps pull and it's hard to take a full breath; too big and the bounce is back. Our bras run small and the Harmony only comes in S, M and L: go by your bust measurement, and if you're between sizes, size up. The quiz below finds yours in 30 seconds.
