“A jumpsuit is one size for my top half and my bottom half. On me, that never works.” You're right, it's the hardest piece to buy: too short in the torso and it pulls at the shoulders, too big and it bunches. And when you're not the same size on top and on the bottom, you never know which one to pick.
What changes everything is the fabric. The Mantra is made with 22% elastane, which gives it a lot of stretch: it stretches to follow your body instead of forcing its measurements on you. The top is designed for high chest support, with removable pads you can keep in or take out.
What it does, and what it doesn't. It holds your chest through your activities, and its open back with an original design is what gives the piece its character. We'd rather be upfront: with an open back, a regular bra would show, so the support has to come from the jumpsuit itself, which is why the right size matters so much. And it only comes in S, M and L: stretch fabric makes up for an inch or two, not a full size.
It all comes down to size. Too small, and a jumpsuit pulls through the torso and flattens your chest. Our jumpsuits run small: if your top and bottom aren't the same size, go with the larger of the two, and if you're between sizes, size up. The quiz below gives you yours in 30 seconds.
