“A back that open, with my chest? I'll need a bra under it, and the bra is all anyone will see.” That's exactly what happens with a regular open-back top: there's nothing inside, so either your bra straps cut across the whole back or you go without support. You're right to be skeptical.
The Jane has its bra built in. It's part of the tee, with moderate support: you pull on one piece and nothing shows in the back. The back crosses in a deep V between your shoulder blades and pulls everything in against you, while the square neckline stays clean in front. The fabric, 80% polyamide and 20% elastane, stretches with you without squeezing.
What it does, and what it doesn't. Pilates, yoga, gym days, walks, all-day wear: you're held and you stop thinking about it. We'd rather be upfront: it's made for gentle to moderate workouts, and it's not a running bra. For jumping or sprinting, this isn't the piece.
With a fuller bust, size is everything. The cut is fitted: a size too small flattens your chest, and that's when nothing stays put. Our tops run small and the Jane comes in S, M and L: go by your bust measurement, and if you're between sizes, size up. The quiz below finds yours in 30 seconds.
